Volleyball in the Lower Hudson Valley

The final countdown

October
21

Like Erin before me, I’m making a career change, and that means I won’t be making it through the volleyball playoffs.  My final day at the Journal News is next Tuesday, which, I believe, is the second round of sectionals.

Now, I know it looks bad that both volleyball beat reporters have quit during this season, and you must be asking yourselves, “What’s going on?   Do we smell bad or something?”  But really, it’s not you – it’s me.

I’ve really enjoyed covering volleyball for the past two seasons, and everybody’s been really nice to me, even when I mess up.  Thanks.  I’ll do all I can to make the mid-playoffs transition as smooth as possible.
