The days, or should I say hours, are closing in before the first day of practices begin on Monday. I have put some calls out and talked to my editors and have come up with a list of scheduled stops myself and three of my colleagues will be for the opening day of the season.
I’m still looking to make stops throughout the week, so coaches, please send me your practice schedule for now through the start of the season in September. The more information you have, the easier it is for me to plan stops. Please note if you will be one of the 20 teams attending the preseason tournament at Clarkstown South on August 30.
My goal is to have information, if not see in person, at least 25 of the 70 schools we cover by the preseason. My stretch goal is 50 schools. Again, coaches, if you want to help get your team’s name out there, please let me know your practice schedule.
Anyways, back to Monday. Here’s the scheduled camp stops we will be making. All four of us will be tweeting updates, but I will be retweeting them a lot, so it will show in the bar on the right-hand column. I have also linked Nancy, Debbie and Dan’s Twitter accounts to their handles below. There will be detailed blog posts about each stop, as well as some information in Tuesday’s print edition, as well. These posts will probably go up Monday night or Tuesday night, depending on how busy and hectic the days are.
(Editor’s note: We have to cover multiple sports at each school; example: I have football, girls soccer and field hockey at North Rockland)
